Karl Holub, GRI, CRS
Karl's fifteen years of real estate experience encompasses everything from apartment locating to international corporate relocation. His considerable experience in both the leasing and buying markets spans the greater Houston area, including Greatwood, Kingwood, Katy, Clear Lake, Friendswood, Sugar Land, New Territory, Missouri City, The Woodlands, Champions, Silverlake and Copperfield. In addition, he manages numerous rental properties under the name Holub Property Management.
Before entering the world of real estate, Karl was dedicated to a life of tennis. His love of playing tennis led him to teaching tennis both during and after college. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Speech/Management. As a former USPTA tennis teaching professional, Karl was ranked in the top ten of the Texas Men's Open Doubles division.
A resident of Houston for more than twenty years, Karl now resides in the Memorial area with his wife, Molly, and their three children, Chanse, Caroline and Charlie. Other members of the Holub household include Jack Russell terrier, Felonious, and his four tennis racquets, "The Wilsons." He occasionally gets to the golf course to bring his "C+" game.
Kevin Read
Kevin's professional life has taken him from the tennis courts to the world of mechanical engineering and now to real estate. A licensed real estate agent, Kevin has also owned residential investment properties. After graduating from Texas A&M University with bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering, Kevin designed power generation and military gas turbine engines. He was an engineering manager for Alstom Power, Inc. in France. Kevin has "retired" from engineering and now focuses on real estate.
Kevin grew up playing tennis and golf and has enjoyed the athletic and social aspects of the club atmosphere since his teenage years when his family joined Royal Oaks Racquet Club in College Station. He played at Odessa College and finished the 1988 season ranked #6 in the country and later was a tennis professional at Royal Oaks.
He and his wife, Katie, reside in the Sugar Land area with their four-year-old son, Kaylin. In addition to family time, tennis and golf are integral parts of Kevin's life. A member of Sweetwater Country Club, he currently plays in the USTA Team Tennis League and hits the links with a 9 handicap.
