Since 2005, National Property Inspections (NPI) has served the greater Miami Valley with a full menu of home inspection services to both residential and commercial clients. Educating customers on the condition of the property without alarm is 100% our focus. We help customers make an informed decision with a thorough, unbiased, detailed, and professional inspection of a property. NPI home inspectors are highly trained, skilled and insured.

In addition to inspections, NPI offers residential energy evaluations, radon measurements, water quality and quantity inspections as well as septic and well inspections. We are also certified to conduct 203k FHA/HUD inspections.

Certifications

Tom Trotter, Home Inspector and owner of NPI, ensures the highest level of service for his clients. Tom is fully trained in the fundamentals of structural engineering, foundations, electrical, HVAC and plumbing and is a state licensed radon measurement technician. He is also a Home Energy Tune-Up residential energy inspector and is a certified building science thermographer. Tom has 25+ years experience in customer service and uses these skills to inform the client on the condition of the home in understandable terms.

Earl Berry, Home Inspector, uses his years of building construction experience to provide a complete evaluation of the property. He is fully trained on all of the aspects of a home and understands the importance of knowing the condition of a property prior to purchasing. Earl, like Tom, continues his education annually through building science courses, specific technical courses and business related offerings.

Carrie Trotter, Operations Manager, works with the clients to ensure customer satisfaction in all areas of the business. She has extensive marketing and operations experience and applies her knowledge to keep the business running smoothly.

All of the team members work under the ASHI standards of practice and code of ethics. Integrity, honesty, and objectivity are fundamental principles embodied by this Code, which sets forth obligations of ethical conduct for the home inspection profession.
