I have lived in Northern Oakland county for 14 years. I grew up in an old Southwest Detroit neighborhood. "the Old Polish Neighborhood". It was a simpler time where everyone knew each other and if you ever needed anything all you had to do was ask. The 'neighborhood of yesteryear', I call it. Now with the advent of cable tv and central air conditioning you rarely see who lives next to you much less stand in the drive and catch up on the local gossip! My educational background is Nursing, I guess I just decided to try on a different hat! Using the lessons learned from where I grew up I find that compassion, reliabilty, empathy and integrity are traditional values used in all walks of life. I get people to open their doors and open their minds to possibilites and ideas where they can achieve the goals layed out in front of them. Whether it is sitting on the porch or sitting at the kitchen table, I lay out my marketing plan for a successful transaction where in the end everyone is happy. But by the way if the church bells ring or the street lights go on could we continue this tomorrow?!
Certifications
My areas of expertise are general and broad. I am comfortable in residential. I love to assist people who are relocating. It is a blast to meet people who have no clue about an area and I am the one who shows them the town! We map out areas, visit points of interest, it is selling not just a house but the community! I am the concierge, the tour guide and I play that role well.
I like first time home buyers. I like the excitment of working with couples or individuals that are just starting on their dream of home ownership! What a great first chapter to the book of life! And I am in it! That is the client who will work with me forever and refer me to others because we unfolded somethng special; buying a first home. Do you remember yours? Everyone has a story to tell don't they...? Even if it is renting for now, many people are doing that, sign of the times...Having someone experienced who can provide the tools and the resources is invaluable.
Step up housing: "We're adding onto the family!, need more room!" Maybe they will name their firstborn after me....hmmm....
As you can see, I am relaxed and easy to work with, shouldn't the experience of buying and selling a home be just that? Hello? You're not actually thinking that over are you? The answer is a resounding "YES" or an "amen sister!" (I'll take what I can get)
