Get to know Joe Cutrufelli

Joe began his real estate career in 1984 specializing in serving the needs of real estate investors.

He utilized numerous tools that were rare at the time such as Buyer Broker agreements, retainer and consulting fees to provide his investors top notch service, expert advice, and legendary negotiation skills.  Joe's hard work quickly resulted in Top Producer awards, qualifying for the prestigious President's Club every year and culminated in an amazing 21 closed transactions in a single month.

 

From the onset, Joe has held a passionate belief in the important of being a "student of the game".  Understanding that real estate clients are paying for expert advice, he spent an enormous amount of time staying up-to-date on real-estate contract law, market demographics, mortgage financing, [add more here].

 

Joe's fascination with mortgage financing, it's impact on real estate negotiations and his continuing desire to be a student of the game, led him to transition to the mortgage industry in 1999.  As a loan officer, he was invited to speak and teach in numerous real estate offices nationwide to bridge the knowledge gap between the real estate and mortgage industries, covering such topics as negotiation, creative financing, interest rate buy-downs and other strategies to create a win-win culmination to a transaction.  He again moved to the ranks of Top Producer.

 

Joe's unique base of knowledge and ability to coach, counsel and train, resulted in an invitation to join the management team for a national mortgage company.  In 1996, he received the Manager of the Year award for bringing one of the lowest performing offices to the ranks of the Top 5 companywide in a single year.  As a result of the mergers and acquisitions of the time, Joe served in the capacity of manager and sales trainer for such notable companies as Nationsbanc (Bank of America), Norwest, Fleet and eventually became Vice-President, Area Manager for Wells Fargo Mortgage.

 

Evaluating what he loved best and seeking a new challenge, Joe returned to the real estate industry with Alain Pinel Realtors.  As the manager of the Walnut Creek branch, he implemented his student-of-the-game philosophy through an aggressive training program to ensure clients receive top-notch service and expert advice, bringing the branch to one of the Top 10 in all of Contra Costa county by dollar volume.  More important to Joe is that the individual Walnut Creek Alain Pinel agents have attained one the highest levels of productivity per agent in Contra Costa county.
