Get to Know Dan DeMarchis
I'm a full time agent. This is not some part time side business. I am in this business 8 days a week. I have two assistants who handle the behind the scenes stuff and the transaction monitoring, so you'll always be in good hands with us. Call us a team if you'd like, but there is only one agent, me.
We are mostly focused on the Fredericksburg market, which includes Stafford, Spotsylvania, Locust Grove, King George and Caroline County. I feel it is tremendously important to be an expert in your market, therefore I don't venture out of those boundaries much. However, I am "comfortable" working in the Fairfax/Northern Virginia market because I used to live there before moving to Fredericksburg some years ago.
I believe that follow on training and education is vitally important in real estate. There is a difference in agents who take the time to get more knowledge on an continuing education basis. For that reason, I am an Assocate Broker. I have also attended classes and earned the ABR, e-PRO and GRI designations. These took hundreds of hours of study and practical exercises to earn. When you go to the doctor, don't you feel more comfortable seeing all those diplomas hanging on the wall? It means he or she is serious about keeping current and learning all there is to know to help their patients (clients). I feel the same way.
I have a wonderful wife of 30+ years (Yes, we married young) and three great kids (young adults). We do a pretty good job of balancing the business with family time. We're not perfect, but we try every day.
Certifications
We work with government and corporate relocations a good bit. This area is very transient because of our proximity to the nation's capital. We also love to work with first time home buyers and move up buyers. Sellers love our services because of our unique marketing approach. Even other agents rave about our online marketing, so we know we're on to something.
