Buying and selling a home can be stressful so you need someone who is going to look out for your best interests. I take pleasure in taking care of all the little details and paper work, as well as holding clients' hands throughout the entire process.  Hi! I'm Darleen McCullen. And I am proud to be a real estate consultant affiliated who subscribes to the philosophy of the Golden Rule: treat others like we'd want to be treated. As agents, we support each other, as well as always putting our customers needs first. It's not just about a commission check. Putting customers first is not just talk. I actually return phone calls in a timely manner. (Usually within an hour, unless I'm with a client. If I know I'll be out-of-pocket for long periods of time, I leave this information on my voicemail, which I change on a daily basis.) Returning phone calls--in a timely manner. What a concept! You've probably called a "professional" who didn't call you back for...oh...3, 4, 7 days...or NEVER? How unprofessional. I recently had a client comment that she was amazed at how quickly I returned her phone calls. Her previous REALTOR® often took days to return her phone calls.

Immediately before obtaining my real estate license, for 13 years, I worked in marketing for SAS Institute, the world's largest, privately-held software company, which has its headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.

During that time, I was blessed with many opportunities to live out dreams I had as a youngster, including being able to model, as well as appearing on national television. A few years ago, I was taped for an appearance on the #1 talk show in America. (You'll have to guess which one!) :-) Hint...the host is a billionaire!

I am a two-time graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill--with degrees in journalism (advertising and public relations). These degrees, coupled with my years of marketing experience with SAS, have given me a "leg up" in the real estate business.
