A little bit about Denise Watkins
I was born and raised in the Eckington area of NE Washington DC. I graduated from McKinley Senior High and studied accounting at the University of DC. I went on to further my studies at Metro Catholic University. After working in banking for over 13 years, I decided to pursue a career in real estate.
I am an avid runner who believes that runners are a unique group of people who challenge their minds and bodies to endure the impact in any weather condition. While training for the Marine Corps Marathon, I discovered that the more I trained the better I performed in my professional life and it was during that time I became the #1 Top Listing Agent in my office.
My husband and I run together, play on the co-ed softball team and are members of the Wheel Kickers Tae Kwon Do team. He is a black belt and I’m a yellow belt in training to become a black belt. While most of our children are grown and have moved out, we have more time to enjoy our life together and spend quality time raising our youngest daughter.
