My training includes Interior Design through the Sheffield School of Design, as well as Staging training from the Canadian Staging Professionals, and courses from Decorate/Redecorate - Barbara Jennings and The Staging Diva - Debra Gould. I have also worked with the top Canadian Redesigner - Traci Kashuba, who is a close friend and advisor. I work within your budget, and know how to create stunning rooms. I have used Feng Shui methods to create a harmonious and peaceful guest bedroom. I have created mini blueprints for a secret garden for one client, and a basement family room for another. I have staged several vacant homes, and many homes using the clients furniture. I staged a Condo late in the spring of 2008 when prices were starting to fall, and it was sold within a month for full asking price, while 3 other Condo's in the same area ended up dropping their price by $20,000.

| It was extremely helpful to have Dianne Thompson come to do a consultation with a client 3 weeks before we put the house on the market. She was able to point out a few things that needed to be painted and repaired, as well as asking that some of the furniture be moved into storage. She was able to convince my client on the wisdom of moving his fish tank to another room, as well as taking the pet paraphernalia out. The house appeared much brighter and more appealing in the photos when we advertised, and we had multiple offers on the first weekend we listed. She made my job much easier. Thanks again Dianne! |
