About Doug:

An active member of the Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of Realtors since 1996. Doug is a member of the Canadian Real Estate Association's ICI Council. This Council consists of members from across Canada who specialize in Commercial Real Estate and have attained specific educational and volume requirements. As a graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming's Entrepreneurship Programme, Doug is also qualified to manage or plan start-up businesses. Doug was instrumental in the formation of the Commercial Council of the local Realtors Association in late 2004. Doug also volunteers as a Director of a local Child Care Organization, Kawartha Child Care Services, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Board.

Education and Training:

Currently pursuing CCIM Designation from the CCIM Institute in Chicago, Il. This prestigious designation is 'the Masters Degree in Commercial Real Estate' and is the most recognized and respected designation available to commercial Realtors worldwide. Completed core designation courses as of June 2007 including: Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate, Market Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate, User Decision Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate, Investment Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate

1995 Graduated with Honours: Sir Sandford Fleming College of Applied Arts and Technology - Entrepreneurship Certificate Programme. Courses included: Persuasive Presentations (Sales), Marketing, Business Planning, Accounting, etc.
