I am the owner and head inspector of Eastern WA Home Inspections, LLC. Together with my eldest son Cody, we provide Home inspections services to Adams (where we live), Grant, Lincoln, and Spokane Counties of Washington State. I am a licensed and insured Home Inspector here in the eastern part of the Washington State. I am an affiliate member of Pro-Sight Property Inspections and a member of the International Association of Home Inspectors (InterNachi). I have been in the real-estate industry as a property investor since 1999 and currently manage my rentals (all here in my home town of Ritzville) and operate my home inspection business.
I have been trained in the fundamentals of home inspection at Bellingham Technical College where they have knowledgeable and dedicated instructors/inspectors that honed my skills in home inspection, report writing, and the laws pertaining to them.
As an investor I focused on single-family homes that were in serious disrepair or had other issues that made them a cash only sale. I then remodeled them, focusing on safety, and code issues, and put them into my rental inventory. I have sold many of these homes over the years some to my tenants, and some to neighbors; sometimes my buyers had watched the remodel process prior to buying. I pride myself on my work and on delivering all the information I could to my buyers and making the deal honest and open. In a good deal both sides win! Over time I learned that I as a seller I was more comfortable when a buyer had the home inspected, giving them another source for information; I want my buyers to be satisfied they got what they expected. As a buyer I performed the inspections on the properties myself but it took time to get good at it. Early on I could have saved money, stress, and headache if I would have had an inspector in, it would have helped with less surprises after the purchase.
It was these lines of thought that brought me to Home Inspection. As a Home Inspector I continue to provide buyers or sellers with the information about a home they need to complete a real-estate transaction in an informed manner. I believe information is key to a smooth a transaction, and satisfied homeowners afterward.

Eastern WA Home Inspections, LLC is a father-Son team of Washington State Licensed Home Inspectors. Cody my eldest son also has been trained at Bellingham Technical College, and he brings with him the experience of years of remodeling under my guidance. Not many people have the opportunity to work with their children and I consider myself very fortunate in this regard.
Currently we are inspecting together, we each take an area of the home, I inspect the roof, crawlspace, and attic areas. Cody inspects the exterior, interiors, panels, and HVAC systems. We take upwards of 200 photos during the process for review during the report writing phase. Our reports are delivered the next day via email, or can be downloaded via our secure server. The report is organized to be easy to read, with digital photos to high-lite items and a summary section for the comments and issues noted. We encourage our clients to attend the inspection and ask questions of us, but if that is not possible we can review the report by phone. We are an unbiased view of the home and our loyalties are to our clients.
