Ed DeChristopher is a licensed real estate broker and has been helping families relocate into and out of the Fredericksburg Virginia area since 1989.  Began real estate career after serving more than 30 years in the United States Army.  Has moved all over the country and world with his family (wife Carol and five children) and knows well the feeling of uprooting a family.  Is a life-member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was formerly a member of the board of directors for the Rappahannock Area Council for Children and Parents (a group whose goal is to reduce child abuse).  Also active in local governmantal activities.

In 1994 Ed developed, with the help of his friend Jim Benson, one of the area's first custom designed websites.  That website evolved into what is now recognized as a "one stop" location for information about the Fredericksburg Virginia area.  The website is dynamic and changes weekly.

Specilization is in relocation and prefers working as a buyer broker; as such, his years of experience work for the buyer rather than the seller of real estate.  Has also been very active in new home sales and works a great deal with first-time buyers.  Many of his prior buyers are remaining in the local area.  However, an equal number has employed him to resell their homes as they both "move up" or move out of the area on relocation jobs.  Military relocations are a specialty.
