For two years, Segal wrote the "Marketing Strategies" column for The Wall Street Journal's StartupJournal.com; his bylined articles on a variety of subjects have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Business Journal, PC World, Home Office Computing, and real estate-related publications including Broker Agent and Pro Agent magazines.

PR Consultant. He has provided advice and public relations services to more than 500 corporations and organizations, and generated thousands of stories about their products and services. His list of clients includes the Marriott Corporation, Consumer Electronics Show, Air Travelers Association, Society of the Plastics Industry, E-Myth Worldwide, Humana, American Red Cross, U.S. Department of the Interior and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Politics. Segal served as the press secretary and legislative assistant to several members of Congress, was a press secretary and advanceman on two presidential campaigns, and manager of a successful congressional campaign in Ohio.

He has conducted hundred of seminars and workshops for corporate and organizations across the country on a variety of topics, including public relations, public speaking and crisis management. Designations/Certifications. Segal earned the prestigious Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executvies. He also holds the RCE (Realtor Association Certified Executive) and e-PRO designations from the National Association of REALTORS.
