Eric Gage is a license Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas.  Prior to entering the field of real estate, he spent his career in Municipal Government.

He is the former City Manager for the City of La Marque appointed by the City Council January 2009 and served in that position until September 2011.

Gage has served as La Marque's Executive Director of Economic Development from May 2001 to February 2006.  While in this capacity, he helped create a pro-economic development stance in which La Marque saw a high rate of commercial and residential growth.  Gage saw a need in under-served areas and helped to bring development to those areas as well.

After leaving La Marque, he joined the City of Pearland's Economic Development Corporation as their Business Development/Marketing Manager from February 2006-July 2007.  During that time, he was responsible for the business retention and expansion as well as coordinating all marketing efforts to promote Pearland.

Economic Development exposed Gage to a multitude of businesses and people who introduced him to the business of real estate.  He started a home rental business in which he owns homes in Houston's Inner-Loop and Galveston County.  This led to a successful and full-time real estate career.

Gage was born and raised in Texas City, Galveston County, Texas.  He is a 1996 graduate of Texas City High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications -- Public Relations from Texas State University in 2000.  He is active in the Rotary Club and serves on the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  He is a member of Houston Area Realtors, Houston Young Professionals for the Arts, Texas City Managers Association and the International City Manager's Association.
