Get to know Cheryl Evans-Cooper
I suppose this is where I’m supposed to talk about why you need a realtor, and then blow my own horn, but that doesn’t seem right somehow. Maybe my horn is off-key?
I’m Pascack Valley born and bred. My life, my family, and my home are all here. I also missed the sense of community as family, where you know and talk to your neighbors, and everyone looks out for everyone else. I bring that history, and that love, to real estate. Whether you’re selling your home or looking for one, you want someone who knows the area and its people well enough that I’m frequently stopped by former clients, business owners, and other locals, a good many of whom I’m fortunate to call my friends.
I owe my success to you. All that I do, all that I know, and the skills that I bring to the table as a real estate professional are all there to help you succeed. That includes everything from integrity and in-depth community and market knowledge to marketing savvy, and solving the dozens of little problems that inevitably crop up in the course of a home sale… negotiations, mortgage issues, and getting to the closing table. But when it all comes together, I know my work is… well, it’s never quite done, is it?
I’ve always believed in putting my clients first. That has meant being accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. So in addition to my local knowledge and experience, I've kept current with market trends and technology in order to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. I’m one of only one percent of all New Jersey Realtors with a CNE (Certified ) designation. I also believe in continuing education in Real Estate laws and skills, because at the end of the day I know those tools help me to extend the range of services I provide to you.
Finally, I’ve been doing this for long enough that I understand that buyers and sellers bring very different needs and expectations to the table. As a buyer, of course, you’d like to ensure you’re getting your new home at a fair price, inspections are done quickly, and the CO issued on time. As a seller, I know you can’t give away the farm, and don’t want to come out of the other end of the process feeling as though you’ve been beaten up. Therefore, I see it as my personal mission to ensure that I’m protecting the best interests of those on both sides of the negotiation.
