Get to Know Jane Welborne
Hello. My name is Jane and I live in Blowing Rock, NC with my husband, Chris. We have 3 children. Taylor, 18, Lauren, 11 and Kristen, 8. They are all wonderful children and what unique personalities! We own the local Nissan franchise, University Nissan, in Boone, NC. Therefore, whether you are looking for a house or a car, we can help. HaHa. No really, what a joy to be able to live with your family in an area that is truly amazing. I don't know if you have ever been to the Western Carolina Mountains, but, if you have, I am sure you will be back. If you have not, you should definitley come for a visit.
This area of NC is the most laid-back, friendly and beautiful by far!!! I am originally from Kentucky, where I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelors in Communications with a minor in Marketing. I did a tv show in Lexington, KY for 10 years for a car dealership. I was one of the the tv personalities with the General Manager. It was alot of fun. Obviously, I was also a Realtor. I got the Real Estate "bug" from my Mother who was a Realtor for over 20 years. She loved it and it just seemed to get in my blood. It is so much easier to work in a field that you truly enjoy and I love Real Estate. It is so much fun for me to look at different properties and see what different builders have done. I also love decorating and just adore looking at the way different people use their talents. Speaking of talents, this area is known for artists, writers, scultptors, etc. living in the area due to the nature of the landscape and the laid-back lifestyle.
I am amazed everyday as I drive to the office to be able to enjoy such incredible views. They call the views here, "Million Dollar Views" and it is so easy to see why. The mountains just layer themselves one after the other. Sometimes the clouds will change the look and the sunsets, oh the sunsets... they are just spectacular.
Oh well, I think you can probably tell that I am very passionate about what I do and the area in which I do it. I love everything about this area and I am sure that you will too. Thanks for listening....... Jane
