Get to Know Jeanene Valdez
Jeanene's focus is providing hands on service to her clients. While much of our industry is focused on volume, Jeanene only works with clients with whom she can closely relate and who can be assured that she will be there for them when she is needed.
Jeanene has lived in the Ahwatukee area for over 10 years. She has three terrific sons ages 20, 17, and 12. They attend ASU, Desert Vista High School and Kyrene Altadena Middle School. Jeanene and her sons enjoy spending time together, going to movies, playing laser tag, taking family vacations to places such as Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, San Diego, and Rocky Point.
Prior to moving to Phoenix, Jeanene relocated from England, UK, where she lived for a year. Prior to that experience she lived in California where, before taking time off to raise her sons, she was a Territory Underwriting Manager for Crum and Forster Insurance. Prior to that, Jeanene was an Underwriting Supervisor for Farmers Insurance. Jeanene has a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.
Jeanene loves the Ahwatukee area, and has extensive experience with the school districts. She has been a volunteer in both the Kyrene and Tempe High School Districts. Jeanene is also a member of the Tempe High School District Curriculum Council and is a parent member of the Kyrene K8 Programming Study. She has held various positions on the Kyrene de los Cerritos Elementary PTO, including President (1994-1995), Treasurer, Communications, and Secretary. She is currently the Treasurer of the Altadena PTSO.
For the past 18 years Jeanene has run a successful piano instruction studio, and has had some terrific students, some have even gone on to major in music! Teaching the appreciation of playing piano to students is a highlight in Jeanene's life.
Even though Jeanene has been involved in all of these activities something was missing. She decided that she could use her organizational skills acquired through volunteering, prior business experience, and knowledge of the Ahwatukee and Phoenix areas, to begin a new career in real estate.
