Who am I?
A very broad question that can only be answered with a multitude of answers. In the Real Estate World I am considered a newbie. While that means I do not have 20 years of real estate knowledge floating around in my brain I do not consider it to be a handicap. My enthusiasm and determination to face this ever changing industry may actually benifit me more than if I knew it all but was burned out. Knowledge can be learned, and with all of the resources available to me through online forums such as this as well as the knowledge floating around in my broker's brain I am confident that my lack of experience won't hold me back. It may even push me forward as I go out and strive to learn.
On a more personal level who I am is more easily defined. I am a MOM first and foremost. My daughter comes first in my world no matter what. I am a Marine Wife and all that that entails. I understand the complexities of juggling the pieces of that life both when they are Home and Deployed. We have moved 4 times in the last 3 years. I am a veteran :)
I believe that service to my client is of the utmost importance. Sure I could only take and show listings that would make me the most money, but news flash... I'm not in real estate looking to make millions of dollars. I am in it to have a healthy career where I can learn, grow and enjoy my work. I understand that some of my best clients and referral sources are going to be people who can not afford a million dollar property. And I look forward to those clients. For me real estate isn't a rat race geared towards how much. This is my reputation and I have to look to how well I treat my clients.
