Two of my passions in life include helping children with special needs and their families and real estate. God has led me on a path that I am able to do both. As an educator of children with special needs -with 20 years experience- and also having a child with a developmental delay, I understand the unique challenges of families with loved ones who have special needs.
My faith, as well as my education and business experiences have allowed me to start a ministry for children with special needs at my church-Spanish River- in Boca Raton, Florida. The ministry currently serves children aged 6-10. The Bible education curriculum is modified for students with intellectual disabilities based upon various instructional strategies. Teaching methods and materials are adapted to meet students' varying learning styles and interests. The integration of instructional software and technology is utilized; BoardMaker picture communication symbol-based boards and activities as well as Apple iPADs.
I am also a Board Member for Kid's Needs Foundation in Boca Raton, Florida. Kid's Needs Foundation is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides adaptive equipment for children with special needs when all other resources have been exhausted. In addition, Kid's Needs Foundation provides families with information on how to advocate for themselves and obtain specialized services through government and other not-for-profit agencies.

My previous professional experiences before joining Keller Williams Realty Services in East Boca Raton, Florida, included working in the following industries: education, commercial real estate, real estate investment, and dental sales. I also volunteered for different organizations, which I’ve done for the past several years and continue to do so.
My professional and volunteer experiences are varied and unique. However, each respective industry shares skills I have used to develop, nurture, and sustain lasting relationships that are uplifting, beneficial, and positive.
These skills include empathy, being a good listener, willing to put another’s interests before my own, and having a spirit of servitude.
Starting a high school, working with children and adults with special needs, and serving those who are terminally ill can, at times, be stressful and emotional. I understand that buying or selling a home can be a stressful and emotional experience for those going through the process. As a result, the skills I developed while working and volunteering in different industries will allow me to better serve my real estate clients at Keller Williams Realty Services.
