Born and raised in California, John attended Laguna Beach High School and Saddleback College, earning a full football scholarship to Wingate University in North Carolina. He captained the offensive line while earning his bachelor’s degree in communications.

John is also known for his leadership roles in regional charities, including the VA Long Beach Healthcare System and the Salvation Army’s H.O.P.E. Village Program.

John enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring local culture with his wife, Jazmin.
