My name is Julie Milana and I have lived in West Fayetteville since 2005.  My family had been living in beautiful San Diego for 18 years when we made the decision to move to Fayetteville, NC to be close to my parents.  We sold our home and most of our belongings, and packed up the kids, cats, and dog and traveled across the country for two weeks in a travel trailor.  It was quite the adventure but we made it just in time for the new school year.  We settled in and our roots here grow deeper and with each passing year.

My husband began a successful home improvements company and I began working for Cumberland County Schools as a teacher's assistant.  It was exciting to be in the classroom, serving the community by meeting the needs of the children.  Our family has enjoyed participating in various sports and getting to know other families in Fayetteville.  We have spent many, many hours on the soccer field.  My son started with the local recreation center and moved from there for his school and for our local soccer club. He is now in 10th grade at Jack Britt HS and we could not be more pleased.  They have so many programs and clubs for the students, school spirit is positive, and the teachers and guidance counselors are very supportive.

These days we spend many hours in the gym, watching our daughter play volleyball.  Fayetteville has several volleyball clubs - we participate in the Fayetteville Area Volleyball Association.  It is a club team and we travel to other cities frequently to watch her team play volleyball all day long!  When the weather gets nice we enjoy taking our boat out - there are many beautiful lakes and rivers in NC.  A short drive and we spend the whole day enjoying the water and warm days of spring and summer.

Since we moved to NC we have all sorts of fun experiences and have met made wonderful friends and created many happy memories.  I would love to have the opportunity to be your Realtor and help you to settle into Fayetteville also!
