Realtor, Washington D.C Metro Area- Koki Adasi-Efuya Serving Maryland, D.C, and Virginia
Koki Adasi-Efuya is a motivated and dedicated real estate agent who places customer satisfaction as his number one priority. Koki will give you the professional guidance to help you make excellent real estate decisions. Koki will provide you with one stop shopping by having partners in mortgage, title insurance and service providers. Koki looks forward to helping you with all your real estate needs.
One June 2, 2008- Koki was selected by REALTOR Magazine as one of the thirty most talented, up-and-coming realtors in the U.S. This year's "30 Under 30" honorees outshone their competitors from a pool of 400 applicants. Selection criteria for the annual award include business success, professional leadership, and community involvement.
Adasi-Efuya's award comes only three years into his real estate career after a year of significant professional achievement and community service. In 2007, Adasi-Efuya logged $6.3 million in sales, selling every house he placed on the market. He also began serving on the YMCA Youth & Family Services Board of Directors and continued his tenure on the Community Service Committee for the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors where he's served for the past two years. His other volunteer activities include coaching the Junior Varsity basketball team at The Bullis School, volunteering with autistic children at The Forbush School at Oakmont, speaking to at-risk high school students and preparing food at DC Central Kitchen.
Since the beginning of this year, Adasi-Efuya has maintained those volunteer activities and expanded his commitment to community service. In January, he co-founded the Germantown-based Kare-A-Lot Foundation (www.showukare.com) with which he aims to raise money and social compassion by selling "Show U Kare" t-shirts. He and his business partner have pledged to personally donate $250,000 this year to Montgomery County charities from t-shirt sales and related fundraising.
Adasi-Efuya became a realtor after working in accounting at Bethesda's Seawright Homes (a subsidiary of Clark Construction) and realizing he preferred a more people-oriented job.
"What I love about selling real estate is interacting with my clients. The relationships I've built are phenomenal. It isn't work. I don't think of myself as a salesperson, but as a consultant who is helping my clients make one of the biggest decisions of their lives," Adasi-Efuya said.
Adasi-Efuya was one of only two African-Americans selected for 2008's "30 Under 30."
