Kathy considers herself a small town girl and that is one of the reasons she loves Rocky Mount. Having grown up in West Virginia, when she and her husband Tom moved here in 1985, they fell in love with the charm that this town offered and they chose to raise their family here.
Kathy became a real estate agent because she likes helping others. She believes you want to work with someone you know, like and trust, a person that puts you first in the home buying or selling process.

Since customer service is a high priority, Kathy chose to expand her knowledge as an expert in the real estate industry. She has earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation, the SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource) certification, the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation along with the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designation and the PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) certification. These highly recognized industry designations/certifications provide Kathy with the latest in expertise, tools and strategies to best serve her clients in today's ever-changing marketplace. She believes education is a life time process.
