I live in the southern part of Stafford County. Stafford is my home. This is where I have grown up. I'm the son of a contractor. My father carried on the family tradition of building homes and owning/operating 2 Ace Hardware stores. I grew up working in my father's hardware stores and construction company. I literally learned about housing from the ground up. In 1989, my father and I started a home inspection company together. My father has since past away, but the company has evolved and is still going. I've also been certified to perform Radon tests for over 25 years. I'm a home inspector, radon tech and a REALTOR®. I have a life time experience in housing. I know houses inside and out. I know how they are put together and what makes them tick. I also know Virginia. I've seen it grow and grow and grow... Oddly, I also have a computer programming background. After I graduated from North Stafford High School in 1983, I went to school to learn computers. I programmed PC's on government contracts with the DOC, DOD, EPA, HHS and other private companies in the Northern Virginia/D.C. area. My hobbies include playing softball with my son, shooting, hiking, camping, the beach, photography, and model rocketry. My interests include the baseball (Cincinnati Reds & Washington Nationals), football (Washington Redskins), local history and genealogy.
