So who is Laura? 

 In a nutshell: 

 Real estate agent, extra proud mother of 2 beautiful girls, wife and Arizona Native.  

I am proud to work for Re/Max Alliance group with a specialty in first time home buyer assistance, new home sales and have a designation to assist clients in a short sale or purchasing a short sale or foreclosure property.  I've been a licensed agent since 2002.  During this time in the real estate industry I have been a New Home sales agent, Transaction Coordinator, Director of Operations for a real estate company, Certified Mentor, and a full time residential resale agent.  Basically this equates to a whole lot of experience but this industry changes constantly and certainly keeps me on my toes!  I have an ongoing commitment to continually learning.  At the risk of sounding like every other REALTOR® on the planet, I am passionate about what I do.  I love helping people buy homes and I find it very rewarding to help homeowners avoid foreclosure on their home.  Let's face it, what happened to the Arizona real estate market is just plain ugly so I am committed to doing whatever I can to preserve values and save homeowners credit scores and their psyches!  The silver lining is that homes have become affordable for families again. 

 A little about my history:  I attended Arizona State University (Go DEVILS!!!) and left with a bachelor of science degree in Accounting and a minor in Psychology.  Translation: a geek who loves to counsel people!  I really love living in Arizona even if I have to put up with "Is it hot enough for you?" and "It's a dry heat" comments for the ENTIRE summer - but hey, at least you don't have to shovel the heat!  I enjoy hiking in all the trail systems the Phoenix area offers.  If you can't tell I like to have fun, I enjoy humor and sarcasm to get through the hard and stressful things in life, and I love meeting all the new people that come into my life through my work.
