Get to Know Lorna Hill
I obtained my Real Estate License in Salem Oregon in 1975. Enjoyed practicing there for about 8 years. I moved to Arizona in 1986. I live full time in Pine with my family. I've worked full time in the Pine and Strawberry area for another 14 plus years. I have the good fortune to live here in the Rim Country. We are less than a 2 hour drive from Phoenix and about 90 minutes from Flagstaff. Pine and Strawberry are 2 unincorporated small Communities approximately 5500 to 6000 ft above sea level. We have the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the world and almost perfect weather. We have all 4 seasons, however they are all mild. Beautiful snowfalls and wonderful summers. Always cooler than Phoenix.
Pine is the home of many geologic wonders, including the Tonto Natural Bridge, the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. We are located a few miles from the Rim Road, and are just below the Magestic Mogollon Rim. We have Museums, Antique stores and Strawberry is home to the Strawberry School house, the oldest standing school house in Arizona.
We are a destination! Please come and let me show you around. You just may be lucky enough to find a cabin or home that suits your needs. We have such a variety of types, and prices, even some that back the National Forest. Most have tall Pines and some have phenomenal views. It doesn't cost a cent to look. I will be happy to be your guide.
Certifications
I spend a lot of time learning about our area. It is small and quaint, but has so much to offer.
I attend any continuing education classes as they are available in our area. There are always new laws and requirements to keep up with in order to serve my clients efficiently.
I am also very involved in the Payson Area Computer Users Group. Served as Secretary for many years. We're a small group that meets twice a month and we're always looking for new members. Contact me if you would like details.
