As a licensed broker since 2004 and a native Oregonian, I am familiar with the Northwest and all it has to offer. I cannot imagine myself living or selling real estate anywhere else, but the beautiful Northwest.
I attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon where I majored in Interior Design. My education in interior design has not only given me a greater knowledge of homes, but also greater appreciation. Homes have been a passion of mine my entire life. When I was young I had just about every doll house imaginable and spent more time fixing them up than actually playing with the dolls. As I grew older I transitioned from doll houses to drafting and design. After studying interior design for a few years, I did what most college students do, I decided I no longer wanted to be an interior designer. After much thought of what I was going to do as a career and a chat with a family friend who was a Washington Realtor, I got my Oregon license. I worked as a team with her while I learned my way around the business. It was a great way to start my business and a great introduction to the referral business since we were each licensed in different states.
After working for two other large real estate companies I have finally settled down with Windermere Realty Group. Windermere is an outstanding company with so much to offer. I am proud to work for a company that prides itself on having the highest ethical standards due to their uncompromising honesty and integrity. After having the experience of working for other large real estate companies, I know first hand that Windermere is the absolute best company in Portland to be working for.
I always make an effort to spend as much time as I can with family and friends. Traveling is very important to me whether it be far away or a drive to the beach. I have several large trips to look forward to in the next few years. I am an avid picture taker I have several cameras and I make a point to always have one of them with me at all times. When I get free time I enjoy scrapbooking my memories creatively. Sports have become a large part of my life over the years. Although I do not personally play any sports, I find that sporting events (especially OSU Beaver football) are a great way to spend quality time with those who are close to me.
I have been raised to value philanthropy. I try and take every opportunity I get to give back whether it be by volunteering my time, mentoring youth or with monetary donations. Some of the organizations I have been involved with over the years are: Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence, Reading is Fundamental and Oregon Special Olympics.
Portland, Oregon broker who truly cares about helping clients to find their perfect home through endless hard work and dedication.
