I have over 12 years of Real Estate experience with the nations top two real estate firms. Coldwell Banker and now Edina Realty. I am a GRI and am Relocation Certified. I have hundreds of hours of continuing education under my belt and I have a new construction rating as well. I get called on a lot to do Brokers Price Opinions for Relocating Clients.
I also have 4 years of Mortgage Banking and Mortgage Brokerage experience as well as some title closing experience and am a notary. Because of my wide variety of skills in all the areas that concern buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions- I am well versed in problem solving and making sure everyone is doing their job. You can trust your big decisions to me and depend on me NOT to drop the ball. In 12+ years I have never had a transaction not close, or even not close in predictable time. I really dedicate myself to making your life easier. If that means driving to your home for paperwork signing at midnight- I'll do it. I preview for my clients so as not to waste time, I've even video taped homes and signed purchase agreements in hospitals while the clients were having a baby. I have one long term client that calls me the Quiet Pit Bull- while I don't totally agree with this nickname- he claims I am tireless and just never give up.

My first love is anything to do with the Lakes Area- either downtown lakes like Calhoun and Harriet or particularly Lake Minnetonka and the smaller lakes that surround it. If your looking for the right fit in lakeshore living- I have either sold it, listed it or been in it. I work a lot in the south west metro as well- Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Chaska, Carver, Victoria as well. While not everyone can afford lakeshore properties, myself included, they are fun to look at and dream of that next move up.
My second love is first time homebuyers! I know that is a spread, but I will tell you why:
Because of my own frustration while first looking into home ownership, and the poor service I experienced- I actually originally went to Real Estate School to try to figure out how to buy my own first house. I learned a lot and with my already great customer service skills- I decided I could do a better job with real estate than any previous agent I had met. I was right-and the rest is now 12+ years of history. I love first time homebuyers because I have been one- and I wanted someone to teach me- not sell me. I am that agent. I teach new homeowners what they need to know- not just find them a house. It is a total package from mortgage literacy to choosing the right home style- to inspections and maintenance and resale values. I enjoy the process and show first timers how it should be done, easily and without fear of making poor decisions. I am teacher and facilitator- because I Don't Sell Houses !! The house sells itself when you find the right fit, know why and what your looking for and explore the correct options.
So, to sum it up- I move the parents to their lakeshore dream home - and then I love to find their kids their first home. It works for me and it works for my clients. Even in this changing tide of the current real estate market- houses are still being bought and sold everyday. I actually am rather enjoying this slower paced marketplace. It allows me more one on one time with each buyer and seller, it forces all of us professionals to use every tool we have and be creative in our marketing to keep homes moving, and best of all to me- it has weeded out the "Riff Raff". And what I mean by that is that the part time agents and mortgage people that were just slamming easy deals together and offering no customer service cannot survive in this market- and that is a good thing. Many of the bad service people out for a quick buck have dissapeared because it is not easy now. The good and the strong survive and that makes my job exciting and challenging, but I don't have to deal with as many poor service people either- and I like that. I really dislike hearing the horror stories from our industry- it makes me sad and I never want to be a part of that. I will work hard on your behalf to help you accomplish your goals.
