"OMGoodness! You actually answer your phone!!!" I am easy to get in touch with. It's amazing to me that in a business that relies on so much communication some people make themselves hard to get in touch with. Loans take a while to get done and it's a stressful time for home buyers. Being there for them and having the answers they need goes a long way toward making transactions smoother and less stressful for them.
I got into the mortgage business in 1996 after serving four years in the US Navy. I have done it all... Processing, originating, reviewing appraisals and underwriting. I worked as a mortgage banker, mortgag broker and wholesale account executive. I helped start and managed a mortgage brokerage that became a very successful enterprise. I have a lot of time in this business and I have had a diverse set experiences that help me and my customers on every loan I do.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics which helps me to understand and communicate to others what is going on in the markets I am involved in... real estate and mortgage lending.
Outside of the mortgage business, I spent 5 years as a pharmaceutical representative which helped hone an ability to convey complex subject matter in an easily understandable manner. I have a friendly and professional approach that my customers seem to appreciate.
I have been a Search & Rescue volunteer and trainer for 5 years (currently inactive) which proves that I don't shy away from difficult tasks and am willing to sacrifice for others.
