I have lived and worked in the Northeast Metro Atlanta Area since moving from Colorado in 1967. During that time I have worked for US Department of Agriculture in both US Forest Service and Food Safety and Inspection Service, ran a landscaping business, built homes for 4+ years, installed custom cabinets for 4+ years, worked with Avalar Atlanta Group Realtors in Snellville and Duluth, Re/Max Preferred in Loganville, Re/Max Greater Atlanta in Snellville, and Southern Heritage in Duluth. Having the experience of working in the fields I have (building custom and spec homes and installing custom cabinetry in new and existing homes, each for over 4 years) gives me an edge in being able to assist buyers and sellers in the real estate market. This gives me the ability to provide them with the fact that I really do have a handle on their market. Add to that the experience of working for the federal government in a service industry which has taught me the responsibility of caring for the client/customer and actually listening to their needs as well as wants. Knowing this about your client/customer makes the real estate transaction so much easier by working to provide them only with the product they are wishing to transact business on without a lot of time looking at those things that don't reflect the visiion of their dream. Real estate transactions are amoong the top three stress producers in someone's life. If you can shorten the length of time it takes while assisting in that transaction and caring for your client/customer during the process, you will greatly influence your ability to gain referrals within their sphere of influence. With the quality of their experience adding to my experience creates a business that will endure the weak market as well as increasing during the strong markets.
