Each buyer desires a home within his or her means, one of a particular style, built in a certain manner, preferably in a convenient and desirable location...while a seller attaches both a monetary and personal value to a property.  When a buyer, seller and property meet, a unique set of variables surface from which a constant may emerge - a meeting of the minds.  To this end, I integrate my education, experience and knowledge into every aspect of the real estate process.

"I view real estate across a broad range of disciplines.  Real estate is about business, art, science, history...but mainly, it's about people.  Matching a buyer to a seller is as important as matching that buyer to a home.  For both parties, it's useful to understand the process ahead, which is why I'm adamant about providing clients with an overview and educating them thoroughly as we go through the steps in their purchase or a sale.  Buying or selling a home can be overwhelming, but taking apart the process piece by piece makes it less so.  I also enjoy explaining how various economic influences can affect the market, which is a vital element in the mix."

For me, real estate is truly an energizing second career.  As a librarian, I've held several administrative positions, mainly at academic libraries, ultimately reaching my goal to direct a library.  I served in supervisory positions at New York Public Library Research Libraries and Columbia University Business School Library, plus was in senior management at Columbia University Law School Library, an assistant library director at George Washington University Law School, and an associate library director at Brooklyn Law School.  Service has always been my business, with my previous profession a great learning ground for my seasoned marketing experience.  If you can market a library successfully in the age of the Internet, retaining its position as you ensure that services evolve, you sure know how to market!

A native of Manhattan who currently resides in Cornwall, NY, I earned a BA in Art and Education from Hunter College and an MS in Library Science from Columbia University.  Most recently, I completed course work for an MBA at Mount Saint Mary College, where I also directed the library upon moving to Orange County.  My main interests include historic preservation and art.  I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors, Orange County Association of Realtors, as well as the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

During my years in real estate thus far, I realize that my "specialty," per se, has nothing to do with a property type or neighborhood location.  Rather, it's all about service, and satisfying my clients' diversity of unique needs no matter where they lie.  Whether I'm searching for one's dream home, marketing a prized property, staging for presentation appeal or negotiating for the best price, I give my all to getting the best results possible.  My home staging consultation is free to clients.  I serve Orange County, New York and specialize in Cornwall, New York and the surrounding area.

Real estate is about people. Matching a buyer to a seller is as important as matching that buyer to a home. My goal is that perfect match.
