I have a personal and professional interest in real estate as an active buyer and seller of properties for myself and my clients. By having "skin in the game" I believe I can provide buyers and sellers with an outstanding assesment of the realistic value of a specific property. Determining market value is the most important service I offer. No buyer wants to overpay, especially in today's buyers market. And no seller wants to leave "money on the table". Yet overpricing a listing is a guaranteed path to frustration and dissappointment. 

I have been part of the market-leading Northbrook Coldwell Banker team for the past seven  years. 80% of my clients are buyers. As a buyers agent I am constantly previwing property, watching price movements and tracking market trends (I supply all of that data to my clients in montly updates). Consequently, when I do take listings, I tend to view properties through the eyes of buyers--by understanding how buyers will see a particular property I help sellers properly position their asset.

My  clientele include first time homeowners, move-up buyers, downsizers and investors. Today's market is the best market we've seen in 20 years IF you are a buyer. There are no happy sellers today...but if someone really wants to sell I provide the guidance to get to the closing table.

With all of the information available on the Internet, there is only one compelling reason to work with an agent: that person knows something that you don't. The value I bring to you is my vast knowledge of where the true opportunities are, which properties offer the best value,  what prices banks are accepting for their troubled real estate, and how to negotiate in a way that makes deals happen so both parties feel a sense of fairness and satisfaction.

I have lived on the north shore for the past 25 years. Even when mortgage rates were in excess of 13% we have never seen the challenges that today's market presents.
