Being a Florida native, I have held an active real estate license since 1989, and licensed as a Broker since 1993. On January 2, 2002, I opened AmericaUnited Realty, LLC.

One of my favorite customers is the first time buyer. I truly enjoy walking them through the entire purchase process, educating them on the perils and pitfalls, as well as the sheer ecstasy of their first home purchase, so that it is totally an enjoyable process.

Our company is educated and EXPERIENCED in one of the down sides to the real estate world; the "short sale". Unfortunately, for many various reasons, there are many homeowners today that can no longer afford their home. And, in many cases, because of the slump in the housing market, they owe more than the market will bear, to sell their home. In order to save these people from foreclosure, most times, they will have to sell the home based on a "short sale". This is when the lender has agreed to accept a sale and final payoff that is less than what is actually owed on the mortgage. This is, usually, a better way to dispose of a home that has become a financial burden, than bankruptcy.
