I have lived right here in the Washtenaw, Livingston County area in Michigan my entire life.  I grew up with 7 other brothers and sisters on over 300 acres in Dexter, Michigan. {That just read like a legal description} Including me, there were 4 boys, 4 girls, and 1 television so you can just imagine all the negotiating going on in our house.  We worked hard physically each and every day and that applied to each one of us.  My parents were educators; my mother was a Nursing Instructor at the University of Michigan and my dad was a Principal/Teacher. They both felt we should have an education beyond high school either vocational or w/ a college degree - so, of course, we all have a degree.  My degree is in Business Education, Office Ed from Eastern Michigan University.  My dad, having a little time off in the summer was a devoted part-time farmer - oh, that would keep us busy alright.  Over the years he had us raising cows, pigs, and various other farm animals.  We also bailed hay, grew oats, wheat and soy beans.  I remember once stacking straw bales on a hay wagon 7 layers high with my sister, just like the boys would do, and being so proud of the accomplishment.   Looking back - I realize just how fortunate I was to live out in the country with such a great family.  

I married Scott Aeschliman in 1975, the absolute love of my life, and we have raised 2 wonderful women.  The oldest is married and lives in Michigan and the youngest is also married and lives in Maryland with my beautiful grand daughter.  

After my girls were old enough to be in school full-time, I decided to become a Real Estate Agent.  This profession made it possible for me to attend all of their sporting events and after school activities. Real Estate is such a wonderful occupation because I could actually work full time and still be with my family.  After 23 Years as a REALTOR I can see that all the hard work as a youth paid off.  A strong work ethic instilled as a child and my Bachelors degree in Business Education certainly make for a GREAT REALTOR!!!  I love my job!!!!
