 About Me

To start, I am a huge people person! I have always loved being the front runner of a business, and the meet and great that comes with it....I have been a receptionist (many times over), group sales coordinator, guest relations manager, etc. I also have a ton of experience with animals and children, which I think also brings a great perspective to the real estate business for my clients. I think it is very important to know how people live their daily lives, which for the majority includes children and/or pets. And with the knowledge I have about them both, it makes it so much easier to help both my buyers and sellers with their needs on either side of the deal.

My husband Matt and I both grew up in Longmont, had lived in the Loveland area for 7 years, and just recently bought our second home in Johnstown. We have a 5 year old son Paxton, a 2 year old daughter Audree, and a 1 year old son Roman! They truly are the center of our universe! J I love horseback riding, music, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, skiing, anything outdoors, and I especially treasure my time with all of our family and friends.

 

My Experience

I have worked in real estate for a number of years, and attained my own license in 2011. I started in the behind the scenes of filing paperwork, marketing, answering phones, holding open houses, previewing the market, etc., and I had learned so much just by being around the world of real estate. It really did hook me from the start! I have since closed many transactions on both the buyer and seller sides. J I love being a part of such a big step in my client’s lives, and I have gained so many new friends along with it all!

 

My Schedule

 

I do not have a set schedule, and I strive to give my clients the best customer service possible. I am almost always available to answer the phone (unless of course I am with a client, or chasing after my kiddos). J If I miss a call, I promptly return it. And I check my email throughout the day. I really am “on-call” to answer your questions, and help in any way I can! I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and my goal is to show you that you can truly believe that! :)

 For Buyers

Buying a home is one of the biggest steps in life, and I immensely enjoy being a part of my client’s exciting adventure of a home purchase! However it can also be very nerve racking, especially if you have not been through it before. I fully believe that the process should be kept to the minimum stress level it can be. While purchasing a home is fun and exciting, stress can also come as a side dish along with it. I will do my best to keep my buyer as happy and stress-free as possible. :) I also do not believe in signing an agency contract (which means my buyer would be stuck with me to sell them a house). I want my clients to know that if they are not happy with my services, then they have the right to walk away! And did you know the seller also pays my commission, and your closing costs for you? ;)

Things To Think About BEFORE Going Under Contract

~ After being approved with your lender, discuss with them your highest possible purchase power. Ask them what your monthly payment would be and decide if you are comfortable with it, or if it is stretching your bank account too far. Find the right monthly payment amount that works best for you, and know what that purchase power price will be….this will be your top amount you can offer without feeling overwhelmed. Stick with it, even if you are approved for a higher amount. J

~ Preview as many homes as you like. That way you can pick up on the things you don’t exactly like, and the things you LOVE about a home. Don’t settle, because there is always that home out there that was built specifically for you! When that perfect one comes along, you will know right when you walk in the door! J

Things To Think About WHILE Under Contract

~ Need a couple of extra points on your credit to get your final approval? Talk to your lender for their advice on what will work best for your situation. Ask them your exact do’s and don’ts, because if anyone knows what the underwriters will need from you to close on your home, it is your lender. They are there to help you, and will give great advice to what will work best for you.

~ Don’t open any new credit cards or lines of credit, unless that is specifically what your lender asked of you. Looking at buying a car, opening a department store charge account, or having anyone besides your lender pull your credit for any reason can also hinder your situation. And in turn you may end up loosing your dream home. It’s only a month or two before closing…and I promise it will go fast! J

 

For Sellers

We want you to know that we will do everything in our power to market your home, and get it sold as quickly as possible. Currently we market our listings on 20+ websites, and we are always looking for new ventures on the web to use as well. We also create a custom website for the home, where potential buyers can see more info, more pictures, and see the top potential for the property that they would not always see through the MLS system. We try to make the home stand out from the surrounding market homes. We will also hold open houses, place newspaper ads, additional signs, mailings, etc, depending on what will work the best for the home.

 

Our Marketing Strategy

EProperties.com is our favorite tool to market your home, besides the MLS system of course! We also have our general ad always running in the Reporter Herald Newspaper, to bring qualified buyers to our listings. In addition, our rural listings get their own individual ad. Our Monthly Newsletter goes out to all of our past clientele as well as anyone else subscribed through their email. This newsletter includes information regarding the current market, tidbits on maintenance of a home, as well as our new listings. These folks may not always be looking to buy, but they might just know someone who is looking for a home just like yours! In a nutshell, we market your home to over 20 different websites, and advertise as much as we can. And we have the right lenders to connect with only approved buyers. This way we are not wasting your time, and only filtering out those buyers who are qualified and ready to move! J
