I retired from Fort Lewis as a 1SG in 2004 to pursue a full time second career in real estate. I have been an Investor, builder and Realtor in Thurston County since 1997; anticipating that I would retire here, my two grown sons and I built a real estate business that we share and take great pleasure in operating.
In 2005 I became fully aware of the impact that the internet was having on the real estate industry, and decided to take my business to the web. It is said that in 2006, roughly 80% of all real estate transactions in the US began with a buyer or seller using the web as a starting point. That number is not phenominal, it is revolutionary. I have recognized the revolution as being valid, and intend to use it to my advantage; and to the advantage of my customers. Those who don't will fall by the wayside.
Thank you for visiting, please leave comments; I enjoy talking about the real estate business, and will engage in conversations about real estate, development and investing with anyone who will listen.
When you are done here, please visit my real estate library at http://www.philsharphomes.com/ ; look at the content, feel free to comment and criticise, and come back to see if I took your advice. I would also be happy to visit your site, and provide a critique....just ask.
Phil has been a realtor in the Olympia area for eight years; as a retired United States Army First Sergeant, Phil wore two hats until recently, building his business as an agent investor, and serving his country as the Ft. Lewis Army Garrison First Sargeant.
Phil is an active investor, builder, and Real Estate agent in Olympia Washington. He is the co-owner of Sharp and Sharp Holdings LLC, and Sharp and Sharp Contracting LLC with his brother and two sons. Phil's role in the company is of course that of realtor, with abundant knowledge of real estate investing and construction in his back pocket.
"I began investing in real estate in my early twenties, prior to going into the United States Army. While in the Army I continued to invest, and on my retirement from Ft. Lewis Washington I took up real estate as a full time career."
"I have really enjoyed having the opportunity to work with my sons' and brother in a family business, we all have something to bring to the table.....my forte is acquisitions, sales and marketing. "
"I have been excited about real estate in Olympia for a long time. I first visited here while with the Army in 1989, and I saw the potential in the real estate market then. Olympia is situated directly in the path of growth in western Washington. With Puget Sound to the west, mountains to the east, and Interstate 5 running thru town, Olympia is destined to continue it's phenomenal growth based on geographic location, a steadily growing economy, and the fact that Olympia is the seat of the state government. Add to this the outlook for a major continued presence to the north by the military and I see the makings of a fantastic real estate market for the long term."
Phil's Real Estate business as an agent of Abbey Real Estate is state of the art. Relying heavily on the use of technology and the internet, Phil is able to meet his clients needs efficiently and without wasting time, especially yours; the value of time in a real estate transaction is huge.
Phil's solid track record working with people in the military and in the local real estate industry, his knowledge of the local area and market, and his years of experience as an investor make Phil an especially unique choice to fill the featured agent position.
Look for Phil's frequent articles in the Real Estate Section of the Olympian, and for his investor luncheons, hosted by Phil in partnership with local lenders, title company representatives and a local real estate attorney.
