Well where do I start.. Originally from upstate New York, moved to Orlando Florida in 1976 when I was 24 years old by myself. Missing family and friends I stuck it out because I loved the sun and did not like shoveling snow. Putting myself through school majored in travel and tourism. Many things changed when I met my husband Fred, a Florida native. The most refreshing thing about my husband Fred is that his genuine caring nature about the wild life and the love of fishing. A northern girl with a southern man, I came to appreciate the fresh veggies that you can plant from your yard. The fresh fish that is caught and cooked that evening. You can't get this at the grocery store. We were married in 1979 and have been married for 36 years with two daughters, along with 4 gorgeous granchildren. Having raised my daughters until the youngest started school, I decided to get my real estate license in 1988. There was only one computer in the office and we had actually MLS books delivered to our office every two weeks. So we had to wait for new listings to be published in the books before we could share it with our customers! There was no Realtor.com, or even Active Rain! Alot has changed and of course many of us old time Seasoned agents "The baby Boomers of the 70s" had to conform. After 27 years selling Real Estate and serving my clients I am always thrilled to learn new to techniques in promoting my properties and communicating with the public. I am still working on the blog.
