Richard Funchess is a current University of Georgia student anticipated to graduate in 2020. With a passion for real estate, he aspires to further his studies in order to become a real estate agent once he graduates. While Richard is fascinated by various trends within the industry, he is particularly interested in the continued easing of lending requirements and is curious where the trend will lead. Richard looks forward to learning more about the industry.

Supplementing his interest in the real estate industry, Richard is also passionate about finance. He developed an interest from his father, a financial manager, from an early age, and has been interested in keeping up with the stock market and other facets of the industry. Richard hopes to meld his two passions to become a skillful real estate professional who is able to make sound investments.

In addition to his schoolwork, Richard Funchess is involved in Kappa Alpha Order, works part time at Pauley's Original Crepe Bar, and volunteers at UGA HEROs, a Georgia organization assisting children impacted by HIV/AIDS. In his free time, Richard enjoys watching and playing baseball.
