Despite his busy schedule Rick finds ample time to give back to the community as a doer, organizer and leader... Fremont Unified School District board member Nina Moore says, "Virtually no one can be involved with non-profit organizations in this area and without knowing Rick Geha." Rick has served on the Ohlone College Foundation Board of Directors since 1993 and as president since 1997. He is Vice Chair for the Ohlone-Washington Hospital Joint Powers Authority Board, which was formed to distribute $1.5 million to the Ohlone College nursing Program. He served on the board of directors for Kidango (formerly Tri-cities Children's Center), and continues to officiate as Master of Ceremonies at numerous charitable events throughout the Bay Area.It is just this sort of selfless commitment to children and education that prompted the Ohlone College Foundation to honor Rick as "Citizen of the Year" in 2005.
