As a veteran of the reverse mortgage industry, I have helped hundreds of seniors, and their families, achieve peace of mind and financial independence provided by the benefits of a Reverse Mortgage.  I am passionate about helping seniors in all aspects of their lives.

As VP, NW Regional Sales Leader, I’m focused on building a team of highly competent, caring loan officers to serve seniors. We support loan officers according to the way they run their business, whether it’s direct to consumer or through referral sources, such as through the real estate and financial communities.

We often partner with realtors and those in the real estate industry.  Together we are able to help seniors find the best solutions possible to meet their financial and independent living needs.  Often seniors wish to down size, move closer to family or move into a retirement community, but feel they do not have the resources to do so.  By partnering with realtors, together we are able to advise the senior homeowner about a Reverse Mortgage for Purchase. The senior homeowner is able to sell their home, purchase a new home with a reverse mortgage and continue living the independent life they desire.

I live by the philosophy of giving and volunteerism by helping seniors in the East Bay region. I have volunteered my time by serving on the Advisory Council, and as Co-Chair of the Planning Committee, for Contra Costa County Aging and Adult Services. In this role, I have advocated for seniors in the county through financial and management oversight, legislative advocacy, and community outreach. Through the Advisory Council, I am involved with the West County Senior Coalition.  For the last three years, I have served on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Contra Costa County where I provide management, financial, and marketing oversight to the board.  I am an affiliate member and have sponsored the Financial Planning Association, am a past member of NAIFA, and have served on San Ramon’s Economic Development Advisory Committee.  Presently I am on the Tri-Valley Estate Planners Council.  In November 18, 2010, I was honored for my dedication to the senior community by receiving the Volunteer Service Award for the East Bay/Oakland communities.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from UCLA’s Anderson School of business, and live in Danville with my wife Lisa (married 19 years), two children, Alexa & Jack, and our Golden Retriever, Lucy.
