I've been a part of the Washington DC community for 30 years and trul now  lived most of my life in this amazing city. Washington DC is the city  where our local news is everyone else's National news. What's amazing to me is that it's truly a small town in many ways. Enjoy a high energy neighborhood - there's Chinatown / Penn Quarter -where the Verizon Center ensures you'll never have a boring weekend unless you want one.
