Born and raised in Rhode Island, I returned to the state in 2007 after many years living in Massachusetts and Connecticut. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1986, I have followed an admittedly unusual and eclectic career path. Some of my previous positions have included small business executive, Internet strategy consultant, art gallery owner, dog trainer, and professional poker player.

Since 2002, I have been practicing real estate in CT & RI. As a Realtor, I try very hard never to lose sight of the fact that I have been entrusted to guide my clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. While knowledge of properties, real estate law, and market conditions are all important, I believe that my greatest asset is a genuine commitment to my clients' well-being and success.

In addition to my real estate practice, I have been actively involved in the study and practice of NonViolent Communication (NVC) and peaceful conflict resolution. Although there are some specific applications of these philosophies, including my volunteer work with the Boys to Men community mentoring program in Norwich, CT, I am committed to the practice of compassion, empathy, and collaboration in all aspects of my business and personal life.

In my spare time, I can often be found on a bike, rollerblades, a kayak, or hiking through the woods. And you'll almost never find me without a book close by.
