Well folks, listed in the box below is my belt of experience, but if there is one thing I have learned from being a Realtor, it's that you can be an expert in a lot of things, and still learn something new everyday! When it comes to Real Estate, it might seem like the market trends are fickle, when in fact most of the time, it's just a phase. When the market is awesome for buyers, sellers will cry themselves to sleep because having so much competition may force them to sell for less than they expected. When the market is great for sellers, buyers want to pull their hair out because they didn't get to a listing fast enough, or got into a bidding war for the only house available that has everything they want and is right where they want to be! It's a natural ebb and flow, and if you were to look back over a 20-year period, you would see prices rise and fall in a way similar to what's happening today. So what does all this mean for you, as a client? It means that to really get what you need out a real estate transaction, you need an agent who is up to date on market trends, has the technology and tools to get you the information you want, and get it to you ASAP. You also want someone who is going to look out for your best interests, and work diligently to make sure your needs are met, whether you are buying your first home, finding that great investment property, or selling the house that no longer meets your family's needs.
