Yeah! The bio that's all about me...
I started out in life in a very small town right here in Central Illinois. Once I got to be school aged I moved to Washington where I resided till my 12th year in school. I then moved Morton to finish high school. That's about the time I met my husband. What an adventure that was about to be!
We have since settled down in his hometown of Groveland. We started a family with our daughter, Alaina, and our son, Brady. I was blessed to have the opportunity to stay at home with the kids (who are by the way 18 months apart). During all those nap times I was able to really dig deep and think about "what I wanted to do when I grew up". One thing kept coming to mind....Realtor! And so it began.
I developed a plan, put my mind to getting my license in between changing diapers and went at it! It was the best decision I could have made. I've never had one single regret and truly feel that I am living the "dream". My kids aren't missing out on their Mom being around for important and not so important daily events and my Husband is proud of my juggling act.
I left Coldwell Banker in August of 2006. I left during some troubled times with my family (due to medical issues) and joined Keller Williams Premier Realty. Unfortunately I was off work for about a month helping with my family. Keller Williams showed me what it was all about to be "kw family" right then and there. Offering to help with my business so I could tend to my family crisis. NEVER had I heard of such a thing before! That kind of environment has nurtured my business from producing 2 million a year consistently to making the jump to 5 million. So now I'm 9 years into my career, kids are growing up fast and life is good! I meet fantastic people almost on a daily basis. I'm always amazed at the folks and situations God puts in front of me. I've acquired some great friendships through my business, great clients and sometimes (although maybe not realized in the moment) some great experiences. There's something very satisfying in helping someone that needs you, find a home, sell a home or even to make the decision to stay at home. The path has been laid down in front of me and even though I may not know where it leads, I'm excited to take the journey and meet all of those along the way.
I love all aspects of real estate! I enjoy the creative energy it takes to market new listings to get them sold quickly. The excitement of the first time home buyer is always welcomed and refreshing. I'm very experienced in all the lending options for first time home buyers. I am also very familiar with the loan process of high end homes and investor loans. Investors offer great challenges, face paced negotiations and the satisfaction of helping to provide cash flow income for the client.
