My background:

“The Beach:  You can shake the sand from your shoes but it will never leave your soul.”  I don’t know who said it, but I know it’s true.  

Somehow I veered off from the beach and went to college in the mountains.  I graduated summa cum laude with a BSBA in Hospitality Management from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina in 1990.  It was too cold to do much else besides study.  And my now husband, then boyfriend, John, was living at the beach.

I got to the beach as soon as I could and then into real estate by purchasing my first house with John just steps to the ocean in Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach, SC.  Thank you owner finacing!

The next purchase was a 2nd row beach house an hour north on Oak Island in North Carolina.  Thank you owner finacing again! This is where John and I decided to go into sales and marketing with Century 21 Dorothy Essey & Associates.  We led "The Lolley Team" to be the top producing team in the county for many years and all the way to the top of the Century 21 system as a Grand Centurion Team.  Special thanks to Dorothy Essey!  What an amazing lady.  During those great years, we also bought, built, and sold many properties. 

The real estate market conditions and family led us in other directions over the last few years....learning experiences not soon forgotten.  Through it all, we have come right back to the real estate business.  It’s what we both love.  

John and I choose Fernandina Beach as the place we will spend the next half of their lives.  We are absolutely in love with it’s location, it’s friendly people, and it’s extraordinary  beauty.  Did I mention it's warmer than the Carolinas?  Amelia Island is awesome!
