I am the Director of The Sydney! Style based in Aventura, Florida. My firm focus’ in Branded Marketing, Political Strategy and Image Consulting with the sole purpose of engineering consent for its’ clients.

Since its’ inception in March of 2000, my firm has successfully orchestrated 9 political campaigns it has been hired to manage. The TSS strategy propelled District 3 School Board Candidate Michael Kosnitzky, to a solid 46% plurality over all candidates in a three way race. (04) Four city commission races were won in Northeast Miami-Dade County; two in Aventura: Zev Auerbach (03) and Manny Grossman (01), three in Sunny Isles Beach: Lew Thaler (03), Norman S. Edelcup (01) and the 2004, 2005 and the hotly contested November 4, 2010 Mayoral election of Norman S. Edelcup in Sunny Isles Beach. In addition, TSS was the lead agency along with Bendixen & Associates that worked hand in hand with Dave Lawrence on the successful passage of The Children’s Trust Ballot Initiative (02) in Miami-Dade.

In January 1996, I launched Sydney! International, inc. in my native Chicago. My company specialized in Image Marketing for personalities. Clients included Dave Mason and Miss Diahann Carroll. The nature of being a world-class publicist and strategist is that I maintained close contact with members of the print and electronic media worldwide.

Before opening my own firm, I was named Senior Vice President at Warren Cowan & Associates; a Beverly Hills based entertainment public relations and corporate marketing firm. With offices in London and New York, I was responsible for managing a staff that specialized in designing strategic plans that resulted in bringing in over $500,000 in new revenue within her first 6 months. Some of my clients included Joan Collins, Burt Reynolds, Miss Diahann Carroll, Joe Bologna, Renee Taylor, Estelle Getty, John Clark Gable and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I joined WC&A directly after managing the historic primary for Senator Carol Mosley Braun. I left my position as Executive Editor of Mirabella Magazine to do so. While at Mirabella I played a vital role in the U.S. launch and in the re-branding of the magazine in the UK. I joined Mirabella directly from the position of Advertising Director & Editorial Liaison of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. Part of my success in the publishing industry was directly attributed to my unique ability to cross promote with atypical clients, due to my eye for identifying high visibility public relations opportunities. I continue to do fashion styling for numerous television and film productions and lecture extensively on this topic worldwide for the cruise industry.

Before entering the magazine industry, I enjoyed a fantastic experience in Chicago politics. Prior to my foray into the private sector, I was an Assistant Press Secretary to the Late Mayor Harold Washington and worked in the Office of Special Events under the Honorable Mayor Jane M. Byrne.

I have always maintained a strong relationship with my family, friends and community. I am an officer on the Board of Directors of Williams Island Property Owners Association, a former Board Member of the YWCA of Greater Miami where I served as Chair of the Committee for Endowments and Planned Giving, a Chairman’s Roundtable Member of The Aventura Marketing Council and served as Co-Chair of 2004 Florida Grand Opera Opening Night Gala of La Traviata. My hobbies include annoying my loved ones, and sadly to say, playing mediocre tennis at best.

Combining my talent for style! and real estate, I find fabulous properties for fabulous people. Serving on the POA board at Williams Island gives me the unique advantage (there is no other realtor who knows Williams Island more than I do) of knowing most of the staff who take such good care of us, and being in on all the scoop- thus, I am really your only reliable source for all that is Williams Island!
