Honestly, doing home and property inspections was attractive to me for the money initially, I did the math and at 3 inspections a day, wow I'd be making more than in corporate america. What I learned is this profession is way more than money. People are counting on you to help them with a huge decision. Being in this position ended up to be the MOST rewarding part of being a home inspector. The bond you make is a kin to being a doctor, sometimes they hang on your every word, and your learned skill sets to help them with this decision. I drive away from each client knowing that we have addressed their purchase by providing valuable input, and helped them make a well informed educated decision. I have investors I've never met from other countries that I've done over 20 inspections for and at that point those relationships have converted from a skeptical trust to a proven trust stance. I really love bringing value to the table.
