A real estate professional with a strong desire to help others, Valerie Kearns has been passionately serving home buyers, sellers and investors for over 15 years. To better serve clients looking for cost-effective, energy efficient, sustainable and environmentally-friendly resources, Valerie earned the National Association of REALTORS® GREEN Designation and is a member of the Green REsource Council.

Focusing on the South Suburbs of Chicago, she is an active member of the community, volunteering at the MainStreet Organization of Realtors Government Affairs Committee, where she actively advocates for homeowners and property rights. She also served on the Boards of the Prairie State Community Partners for Sustainability and 
Will County Regional Sustainability Network.

Valerie held positions at University of Chicago Real Estate Operations and the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, and received a BA from Northeastern Illinois University. She has experience in real estate sales, sustainable home renovation, investment properties and new construction. When not assisting others, she spends her time renovating her 1960's mid century modern home, enjoying travel and nature, and taking photos of her dog, an entertaining chocolate lab.
