Being a Certified Real Estate Negotiator, a Certification enjoyed by only 1% of Real Estate Agents nationwide, I've been specially trained to engage in negotiations at every level of a real estate transaction. My goal is to get the highest price for my sellers and the best price for my buyers. As a negotiator I will never represent both the buyer and seller in the same transaction ( Dual Disclosed Agent ) as this would render my special skills self defeating. My clients get my undivided attention. Should I procure a buyer for one of my properties that buyer will be assigned to another Certified Negotiator within my agency. I found this removes all the doubt and suspicision that can sometimes come from representing both parties.
While my skills are applicable to all area of real estate I've been focusing on the secondary vacation home market. Folks that always dreamed of that getaway at the beach are seeing those dreams come true. With homes prices down and mortgage rates at historic lows the fact these buyers have nothing to sell creates a win/win situation. There's no trade off of seliing a home in a down market. It's a perfect storm for these clients. Some of these homes are the type the clients great grandchildren will be telling friends it's been in the family since my grandfather bought it in 2012. There's something nice and rewarding about being part of that legacy.
