I am in my third year contracted for a Parkbench territory. Parkbench was a GREAT decision for me. It's as close to a "Silver Bullet" as you are going to find.
In a world of "me-too" offerings for Realtors, Parkbench is unique in enabling me to differentiate myself from everybody else.
The concept is brilliant. As the exclusive Parkbench Realtor in my territory I can engage local merchants and thre public in my territory in ways no one else can.
The owners (Grant and Amanda) consistently advance the platform's functionality. They also initiate crisp, clear communications that help me think of new and novel ways to be recognized as "the neighborhood Realtor". And my Parkbench Coach, Amanda Piron (a different Amanda) feels more like one of my team members than a Parkbench person.
In my opinion, the Parkbench system works best when:
- Your territory has a community feel to it... residents and merchants already identify themselves with the locale.
- You recognize that community merchants already serve the same population you do AND you are willing to put some time into helping those merchants advance their businesses. (There is bread on the water) .
- And... you are willing to make some minor changes in your routines; to capitalize on Parkbench's unique value proposition. (The Parkbench model leverages time and effort like nothing else when used as intended).
I compete in an intensely competitive market (e.g., 50,000 licenced Realtors in the Greater Toronto Area and a local Realtor whose been #1 here for 25+ years.) To me having Parkbench's exclusive system; supported by capable, committed people as "partners"... it's one of the best choices I've made.
I'm going to check it out. During season I'm guessing that 40% of the license plates here are Canadian.
Sandy Padula and Norm...
never heard of them
Sandy Padula and Norm...
We started using it in August 2018. The idea is to create new relationships through a video platform that offers the business owners a page on which they can add photos, offer coupons, get reviews, share on social media, etc. It is taking a while and we definitely are meeting more people and creating relationships. It's not a get rich quick scheme for sure. We are just now beginning to see some of these new people asking us about business and it is April 2019. It's another way to get out into the community to meet people. You can see our videos at Parkbench.com/Seneca
I'm going to give it a try. I'll keep you posted on the results. I'm kinda excited to try something new and get help with content and ideas. I like the relationship angle.
Don't do it. The site is supposed to be updated but it is not true. They took my money and I tried to cancel in 24 hours after seeing the site and they would not give me my money back. This is a terrible system and they put no money into placement. I am starting a campaign against them. Please call me at 203 243 2423. Thanks Adriana
Saw them tonight on Facebook. Looking for reviews? Does anyone know if are they accredited by the better business bureau?
So it seems that everyone is happy with ParkBench.com. I, for one, am not.
This is a company that overpromises and underdelivers. They preach about relationship selling, but do not honor their own commitments to their clients. I would not recommend. But that's just one voice. It's expensive and there are better ways to generate real relationship business.
I'm a sponsor in North Vancouver Canada for Parkbench. I've been involved since May 2017 and I love it. I've been a realtor for 26 years and have never actually enjoyed prospecting. Now I look forward to it. My coach is Amanda P. She is lovely and very knowledgeable and encouraging. I can see this is going to really change my business long term. I recommend you join. It's much better than buying leads
I do not advertise on ParkBench I am a sponsor/ambassador with 3 zipcodes. I have been usng ParkBench for about a 6 weeks. I absolutely the the whole concept. I have published 5 interviews and have 7 more scheduled. It is giving me a great way to talk to business owners in my community and easly move into a conversation about real estate wants and needs. I firmly believe this site will allow me to build some very personal/business relationship that will result in real estate transactions.
Please feel free to contact me 602-614-3240 if you have questions or if you want a referral to a great coach... Amanda P
I just signed up for my local area. it requires work but gives you an opportunity and reason to meet with local people and become the community go to resource. You technically are the "sponsor" of the website. They feed you some content but not all content. You can post blogs, listings, etc. but the main focus is helping other businesses promote their business for free on your site. I'll update you all after I have tried it for a few months. It is a yearly sponsorship for the zip codes/areas you consider your niche market.
I just got an email from them and am also curious. I'd rather have my Active Rain colleagues give me some info before replying.
Just received a call from them and they seem to have a good idea..
They are just now expanding from Canada and have some Agents set up in the California area.. I would like to hear from anyone who has dealt with them..
We haven't, but will check it out. Thanks!
