Buyers and sellers don't take days off; therefore real estate agents don't take days off; therefore I don't take days off! Ha ha!

I know a lot of people who are taking today off. Unfortunately I am not one of them. When you own your own business it's not that easy.

That sounds awesome. Instead I have home inspection on Friday, another inspection on Monday followed by another home inspection on Monday. They say "no sleep for the wicked"= true.

When I was a young whipper snapper, I used to be at my office on most holidays (obviously not Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.). It worked to a great advantage because others were not. In my memory, I doubt there were very few where I didn't sell something. One time, some out of towners were looking at a $2 million building. They called the listing agent, and got no response. They then went into a nearby shop and said something to the fellow who was working there. He said, "Bill Cherry's always available. He looked up my number and gave it to them. We signed the contract that day, and I made $60,000.
